A few days late posting this, but the lights are on. Running times as always are 8:30 to 10:30 pm until New Years Eve.
There are a few photos and one video of the 2011 display up now, with more to come in the next few days.

Video footage of Suite Christmas Rush, Music Box Dancer and the ever famous Wizards In Winter just to name a few can be viewed right now from the video page.
Enjoy, and Merry Christmas everybody
It seems progress is finally being made in drying out the wet electronics. Clearing out water from a power board is not that easy when you are unable to open up the casing for inspection.
Providing it does not rain this evening, I should be able to have the windows, roof and mega tree operating. Much of the garden will probably still be turned off for another day or two, though.
Amongst all this, a video of the display dancing to Wizards In Winter is now online (this was filmed before the weather event)
The rain has been very heavy today, so it is looking unlikely that there will be any lights running tonight. The weather forecast shows that the heavy rains are likely to continue into tomorrow night as well, potentially meaning two consecutive nights without a display. Please keep this in mind if you are traveling from afar these next few nights – I wouldn’t want to disappoint!
On the brighter side, two more videos of this year’s light show are now live on the video page – enjoy!
A video of the launch song from December 3 (thanks to the wet weather) is now up on the video page and YouTube directly for all to see.
Can anybody spot the differences to last year?
The last of this year’s display videos has been uploaded to YouTube!
This year’s songs are Suite Christmas Rush by Carrie Lyn Infusion, Music Box Dancer by DJ Schwede, Wizards In Winter by Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Carol Of The Bells by David Foster.
You can view most of them by going to this YouTube playlist (scroll to 2009).
Rain has been forecast from late evening until tomorrow morning, and clouds are developing.
For the moment the show will continue as planned but if it begins raining the lights will be turned off early.
Three more videos of this year have been posted. One more remains which will hopefully be completed by the end of week.
Yesterday was the launch of this year’s Christmas display. It went off mostly as intended, although the ‘sticking’ issue returned on one section of the mega tree once again. I’m hoping it will be corrected for tonight.
A video from the launch is now available on the video page. Pictures and videos of individual songs are not available just yet, but they will be soon.
Two videos have now been uploaded of this year’s Christmas display. They can be found in the 2008 videos section of the website. A third video will follow later in the month.
Also, over the last two days the display has not been running to its full potential due to bad weather. The same bad weather is expected to hang around again tonight.
Tomorrow is forecast to have a clearing shower, so let us hope the display can run to its full potential from tomorrow night.
Ryans Christmas Lights 2006 Completeness – 6600/6600 lights!
That is right folks, 100%.
A video of the display is up on the video page, and photos have been uploaded on the 2006 photo gallery page.
