Light Up Emerald 2007 Best Display Spot Prize Event Details The public are encouraged to check out Emerald Street in lights as part of their visit to Ryan's Christmas Lights. One house will be awarded the 'best display' award. Criteria for claiming this award include that the home owner has the most interesting display within Emerald Street (this does not necessarily mean the most lights, however this will most certainly help.) One house will be awarded the 'spot prize'. Criteria for claiming this award simply requires the home owner to put one or more light sets up either on their house or in the front garden. During the judging night, all homes with a Christmas light set or more lit between 8:30pm and 10:30pm will be put into a hat, and drawn at random. The two winners will each receive a laminated award printed in colour with a photograph of their display. The photograph will also be published on this page. The prize was a lighting package valued at approximately $15.00AUD. Photographs of participating homes can be viewed on the interactive map below.
